My conclusion: Management is the most noble of professions if it's practiced well.
Frederick Herzberg: The powerful motivation in our lives isn't money, it is the opportunity to learn, grow in responsibilities, contribute to others,and be recoginized for achievements.
Culture defines the priority given to different types of problems. It can be a powerful management tool.
Parents... had begun working with their children at a very young age to build a culture at home in which children instinctively behave respectfully towards on another,..., and chose the right thing to do.
谦虚并不体现在自我贬低上，而是体现在能够平等地尊重地对待他人。
Being humble, you will be able to learn from everyone, not just persons smarter than you.
I've concluded that the metric by which God will assess my life isn't dollars but the individual people whose lives I've touched.

There are five degree of initiatives....:
1. wait until told (lowest initiative)
2. ask what to do
3.recommend, then take resulting action;
4. act, but advise at once
5. act on own, then routinely report (highest initiative)
